Stewart Mauldin

Guitar/Vocals

Adam Mc Kee

Lead Vocals/Harmonica/Piano

Stewart Mauldin, a consummate guitarist, vocalist and songwriter who draws from his melting pot of styles and genres, creates a dynamic and unforgettable musical experience. Having toured the US, Canada, and the Caribbean in Top 40/Funk/R&B Bands for over 20 years, and opened for such acts as Kansas, The Little River Band & Jefferson Starship, Stewart has been influenced by many of the great rock guitarists. Having lived in New Orleans for several years, he also developed a great appreciation for blues and jazz of all styles. These influences ultimately led him to create his own unique voice. From his clean, angelic, intricate Blues stylings to his searing, angry, on-the-edge, harmonic squawks, he creates a unique tone that shapes the band's core. His energy and experience are key drivers of the Junque Gallery sound.

Frank Poolos

Frank Poolos, keyboards and brass, has studied classical piano from the age of five. He is a musicians’ musician whose classical training is the foundation of all his abilities. By his teenage years, he was playing more and more Rock and Jazz. After college, he performed with several groups in venues all along the East Coast. Throughout his career, he has opened for many big names such as The Atlanta Rhythm Section, The Tubes and Jim Dandy. His knowledge and experience have allowed him to flow through the music always adding the right flavors.

Woody Hunt

Drums/Percussion

Adam McKee, the lead vocalist, plays harmonica and keyboards, too. He has played and sung professionally in Rock, Funk, and Blues Bands all over the country. Being heavily schooled and influenced by the vocal styles of such greats as Sting, Robert Plant and David Gilmore, he brings authenticity to the band. When he is singing or playing an instrument, you feel like everything sounds the way it should!

Rick Almond

Tenor Saxophone/Vocals

Rick Almond, a saxophonist with an exceptionally smooth tone, is a big component of the Junque Gallery sound. After graduating from Pfeiffer University with a music degree, Rick travelled the East Coast playing with every style of Top 40/R&B/Dance Band you can imagine. He has opened for the likes of Boney James, Adam Nitti, Foreplay, and even the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra.
The seemingly effortless sound he produces when he plays is truly magical!

Woody first got into music playing the alto saxophone at the age of twelve. He was inspired by fellow band mate Frank Poolos to continue his education in music, who was also his band director from the 6th grade through the end of high school. At the age of 15 Woody decided to put the saxophone down and pick up the drums in the marching band. He picked up drumming fairly quickly, and moved to drum captain and band captain his junior and senior year in high school. It was not until he was 17 that he had even touched a drum set, and within a year he was playing the drums for live musicals that local theater groups would perform, including acts such as Annie and Footloose. Having sat behind the drum set since 2009, he is extremely excited to become part of the Junque family.
